Waiting Lists

If you want a chance to register for a Psychology class that is already full, you must sign-up on the appropriate waiting list. You can sign up on the waiting list for a maximum of three Psychology course sections.

SIGNING UP ON THE WAITING LIST DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOU A SEAT IN THE CLASS!

You should register for a "back-up class" in case the instructor of the class for which you are waiting cannot sign you in. For assistance, contact the Psychology Advising Center in the Psychology Bldg. Rm# 312, 621-7439.

You MUST bring an add form to the first day of class to see if you are high enough on the list to be signed into the class. If the instructor agrees to add you into the class, he/she must sign your add form. To actually register for the course, you must bring the signed form and a photo ID to the Registrar's Office.

Waiting Lists will open 7 AM August 3, 2009 for Fall 2009 classes.

The Department of Psychology integrates its teaching and research missions in a variety of ways. Our undergraduate major, one of the largest at the university, focuses on providing students with a solid grounding in research methods, and broad exposure to two domains: (1) Cognition and Neural Systems and (2) Individual and Social Processes. Our graduate program includes concentrations in clinical, social, evolutionary psychology, cognition and neural systems, and in psychology, policy and law.
