We are excited that you want to join Psychology! We offer two major options: the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Bachelor of Science in Psychological Science.

Please visit this page to help you decide which major is the right fit for you. We also offer a Psychology Minor to students who are not declared Psychology or Psychological Science majors.

Students need a cumulative 2.0 GPA to be eligible to declare a Psychology or Psychological Sciences major or Psychology Minor.

Declaring the Major

Main-Campus (Tucson) Students:

Please click and complete the information session below to declare the major or minor of your choice. New majors and minors are declared every Friday. You will be notified via your CatMail when the major/minor has been declared.

Arizona Online Students:

Please email your Arizona Online Psychology advisor to declare the Psychology major. If you are interested in adding a Psychology Minor, your current major advisor can declare the minor for you as long as you have a cumulative 2.0 GPA. If you have questions about the minor requirements, you may email your Psychology advisor.
