Advancing the science of psychology from infancy to old age.

Welcome to UArizona Psychology!

Everything we do in Psychology is relevant to promoting health – understanding the basic circuitry of the mind and brain, promoting successful development and aging, and exploring the social, cultural and environmental factors that influence behavior. Our faculty and students are creating innovative solutions to important problems that range from depression, Down syndrome, and Alzheimer’s disease to social problems like stereotyping, cultural bias, and family violence. By partnering with the community, we’re finding new ways to promote healthy lifestyles among people of all ages. It’s my pleasure to welcome you to UArizona Psychology and introduce you to the people, places, and events that are the life of our department. For the latest updates and news, check out our department newsletter, or connect with us on Facebook, LinkedIn or Instagram.
