I am a Ph.D. student in the Clinical Psychology program in the Psychology Department. In between school, I worked as a Research Assistant at UT Southwestern Medical Center and then at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso for cancer prevention programs. My clinical training is focused on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and parent-child intervention therapy (PCIT).

Research Interests: 

  • Working with English and Spanish-speaking children and families
  • Using evidence-based practices to promote mental health 
  • Early adversity, sleep, and language development
